![]() ![]() We created this company as a way for everyone to show their support for firefighters and EMS personnel, by placing a red light outside of their home or business year-round. We started this in 2016, after watching our local paid fire department getting bashed by the local politicians. As such, we created a social media page via Facebook Red Lights For Firefighters LLC. From there, we created more social media pages to spread the word and to reach a larger audience with more news, and a website to help fund what we do. Our website and social media pages are, Facebook Red Lights For Firefighters, Red Lights For Firefighters - State, National & World First Responders Info, Red Lights For Firefighters - News, Health and Safety, Friends of Red Lights For Firefighters, Twitter RedLights4FF, Instagram Red Lights For Firefighters, Pinterest Red Lights For Firefighters LLC, and YouTube Red Lights For Firefighters Red Lights For Firefighters, along with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF), and Tribute To First Responders, Inc. would like you to Shine Your Light for Firefighters on May 4, which is also International Firefighters’ Day. This day of recognition is at the core of what the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) does. Our mission is to honor and remember America’s fallen firefighters, to assist their families in rebuilding their lives, and to prevent firefighter injuries and deaths. “The role of a firefighter in today’s society – be it urban, rural, natural environment, volunteer, career, industrial, defense force, aviation, motor sport, or other is one of dedication, commitment and sacrifice – no matter what country we reside and work in. In the fire service we fight together against one common enemy – fire – no matter what country we come from, what uniform we wear or what language we speak.” – Lieutenant JJ Edmondson, Founder of International Firefighters’ DayTHIS IS MY FIREFIGHTEROn May 4, in celebration of International Firefighters’ Day, post a picture on your social media platforms of a firefighter who is important to you with the hashtag #ThisIsMyFirefighter. We would be especially honored if our Fire Hero Family community would share a photo of their firefighters. Firefighters play a special role in communities across the country; this is a way to honor firefighters who have played a special role in your life. We look forward to seeing your firefighter pictures on May 4! WE THANK FIREFIGHTERS“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” – Aesop A simple act of kindness is sometimes all it takes to brighten someone’s day and let them know that they matter. As you stay home, many of you are looking for ways to help and show appreciation for those keeping us healthy and safe. For creative and compassionate kids (and adults) who want to let our firefighters know that we are grateful for everything they do, we invite you to draw, color, and share your thank you with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) by E-mailing a photo of your artwork to photos@firehero.org or sharing on social media using #WeThankFFs. We will share your works of art on our website and social media on May 4, 2021, International Firefighters’ Day, to celebrate firefighters everywhere.
